Likes (Technology)

Digital technology, free open source software, GNU/Linux, Tor, encryption, HTML, .webp.

2000s technology is better than 90s technology because it had the best of what digital technology had to offer but before things like always-online DRM, manufactured obsolescence, and just way too much features (like a web browser in car dashboard) were introduced.

I understand vintage technology is easier to repair, but I’m talking about utilising. I think I would be interested in fixing vintage stuff if it was for someone else, but I’m not going to fix it for myself since I would rather use digital technology (unlike Ashley Jones who goes as far as to use vintage kitchen appliances and vaccum cleaners, by the way the format of this page was stolen from her , so you should check her out and make sure you use the referral code DAVEW- no).

Digital technology, overall, is better than analogue technology.

The former allows for easier access, space-saving and sharing capabilities.

I pirate content, even if I own a legal copy of it.

Some products benefit from being digital, such as watches, they can include an alarm system as well as light to read the time in the dark.

Some products are best as analogue, such as weights scales which do not require batteries.

I prefer using individual devices over smart devices, for example, using a Sony ICD-BX022 to record my thoughts as opposed to a smartphone. Less distractions, and its easier to keep organised.

Likes (Morals)
Natural human living (this rules out cities), relaxation, peace, eating healthy, working out, humour, freedom of speech, cleanliness, quiet, safety, emotional regulation, politeness, diplomatic communication, commitment.

Likes (Food)
Meat, fish, rice, red kidney beans, black dal, mung dal, salt, onions, potatoes, mayonnaise, milk, eggs. I prefer cooking my own meals.

Likes (Relationship - Real life):

I believe in sex within a relationship, and right now I'm not ready for a relationship.

Not a prude, no issues with flirting or casual dating.

Likes (Relationship - Virtual):

I have a non-sexual "crush" on Ashley Graves.

I think she looks cool and her toxic personality is entertaining (only in fiction, in real life, I'd hate her).

This is not werid, people watch porn and even have favourite pornstars, that is cuckoldry and far more odd than me appreciating the art design of a fictional cartoon woman.

Ally Sheedy and Sigmourny Weaver. I would go on a date with either of them (not both at the same time, I'd probably wouldn't even be able to hold the utilities). Again, the crushes I have is purely platonic, there's nothing sexual about it BUT if, you know, hypothetically, they were to hit me up and go "Yo, dude, David, my wolf, we want your UPS (Uncut Persian Schlong)" I would contemplate it (which is saying something, given the very few opportunties I had to score, I was just straight up like "no", so yes, me contemplating having sex is noteworthy, you know, I just think sex is more than recreational hedonistic fun).

Likes (Collecting)
I don’t go out of my way to collect things, but if I find unique stuff around I’ll keep it. For example, I have two McDonald’s straws unopened from 1986, I don’t know where these came from.

However, I don’t necessarily get “attached” to items, I don’t like the obligation of keeping “rare” stuff. I like to keep my place such that if you were to break into it, you’d have nothing to steal (except for my encrypted hard drive, which I have encrypted online back ups of).

I also appreciate communication, but I’m rather reserved for various reasons.

Analogue devices that require electricty (because what's the point?), social media, phones, smart devices, tablets, laptops, new cars, playing music while performing a task (not counting white noise such as rain), biometrics, automatic opt-ins, automatic updates, proprietary components or software, monetised internet, Windows/MacOS, Wi-Fi, online video games, video games that are self-

I avoid swearing, using slurs (though I support my right to say such words if I wanted to), using words like "obviously", etc.
